The proposed donation of land in northern South Park, from the Gill Family to Teton Habitat, allows us to grow as your affordable housing developer. Over the course of the north South Park development, Habitat will build 200-plus homes.

Using our well-established construction and funding model, we project the need to fundraise $3 million to $3.5 million per year for 15 years for our portion of the development. This is well within our current fundraising capacity. But we are beginning new fundraising in a considerable way.

Teton Habitat is in full support of the proposed LDRs for development in northern South Park as drafted, and we are ready to scale up our capacity to perform for our community, just as we have done for the past 29 years.

Hear from Patty Lummis, Habitat board member and longtime resident of Jackson Hole, on why Teton Habitat is ready for the South Park Challenge in this recent JH News & Guide Guest shot.
